My journey to becoming a Certified Birth Doula

My journey to becoming a doula began with the birth of my first child. I had an empowering birth experience, thanks to the amazing support of my doula. She was there for me every step of the way, providing me with emotional and physical support, and guiding me through the entire process. I knew right then that I wanted to do the same for other families.

I began my doula training shortly after and quickly fell in love with the work. It was an incredible feeling to be able to support other families during such a transformative time in their lives. I felt honored to be a part of their journey, and I was constantly amazed by the strength and resilience of the families I worked with.

Because we’re all about help here

Birth can be unpredictable and sometimes a doula may have to miss a birth due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, emergency, or simultaneous births. That’s where a backup doula comes in…and she’s amazing.
